Student Ministries
Wave – Every Wednesday at 7:30 we get together in the Sanctuary. We start out with world famous "Stupid Game Time" which is pretty much self-explanatory. Then we spend some time worshipping God, take a look at God’s Word and what it says about stuff and what it might mean in your life, and then a rock-hard time of celebration through praise and worship.
D-Groups – Each week we have several small groups that get together and have some fellowship time and some Bible study. These are called D-Groups, which stands for Discipleship Groups. The purpose of these groups is to let you develop some good friendships, as well as learn more about God. Sometimes D-Groups get together for a service project, sometimes they get together for meaningless fun.
Trips – Each year we take a couple of trips designed to have fun and serious God time. If you are in Jr. High, our Rock City Rampage Trip is for you! We load up and head to Cleveland for a couple of days to have some fun and have some serious God time. Also, in the spring, we go to a conference called Jr. High Believe. This conference is packed with other Jr. High kids and has an awesome praise band, excellent speaking and a ton of other fun stuff (WAFFLE HOUSE BABY!).
If you are in High School, then the Need-To-Know Road Trip is just for you. On this trip we load up in a bus and head off to somewhere. The catch is we don’t tell you where! Past destinations have included Chicago, Niagara Falls, a dude ranch, paintballing, a semi-pro hockey game, canoeing, Indians game, concerts and much more! Each night we have an intense worship service with intense God time. Also, Christ In Youth (CIY) Summer Conference is for you. This is a week of excellent bands, speakers, workshops, youth group time and real encounters with God.
Sunday Morning Worship – Each Sunday morning at 9:30 and 11:00 we have our "church" time. This is a great opportunity to worship together as a church body.
SBF (Sunday School) – Each Sunday morning at 9:30 there is a great opportunity of Bible study. Lately we have studied books of the Bible as well as topics that come up in everyday life.
Bible Quiz is a fun way for students in grades 7 through 12 to learn the Scriptures. It is also a great way to get to know and fellowship with Christians from other area churches. Teams from CCAT and several other churches compete to test their knowledge.
Over a six year period, all four of the gospels, Acts and several of Paul’s letters will be covered. There are 9 or 10 quiz meets each year. The quizzes occur on Sunday afternoons and the season runs from November to March.
Contact the church office (419.447.0042) if you would like to participate.
